• How to Replace Outdoor Furniture Webbing

Wicker patio chair with its cushion removed, exposing sagging black elastic webbing woven across the metal seat frame.

Those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer…

Lazy. Hazy. Crazy. I identify with all three, but only one resonates with me on a subatomic level. It courses (very slowly) through my apathetic veins. It naps in the depths of my languid soul. If I were a rap star, my name would be Lay-Z. (Although that sounds vaguely dirty, so maybe not.) If I were a cat, I would lie in the sun with my head in my food bowl so I could eat without having to move.

Zero, a tabby cat, lying in the sun with his head resting in his food bowl.

OK, you get it. I’m freaking lazy. It’s taken me two years to write this post about outdoor furniture, but here it is. Because, you know, now that summer is officially over, it makes perfect sense to start talking about outdoor furniture.
